Professions
You can use the preview with any recipe you know, with a Ctrl+Left-Click on the icon of the final product in your professions window.
Tips: You can preview the recipe's end result with Ctrl-Left-Click, this works for recipes you have, that are in the Auction House, or that appear in chat.
If you want to avoid losing WoW money and time when trying to sell crafted equipment, just link the item in chat to a prospective buyer.
